Day 1

Already at 6 o'clock in the morning, the plane left the Czech Republic with us onboard. However, it was not as simple as it seems. Already during the inspection, the security group looked at us quite strangely. Despite the fact that a lot of people knew what we were carrying with us, where we were taking it, there were a lot of problems around. The captain of the plane finally announced that "This is not going to fly on board". Ludmila ended up under the deck in a box that cracked open on the way, but all the parts were kept inside. The flight to Minneapolis was very pleasant and the food (and the associated carbon footprint in terms of plastic materials) improved significantly compared to previous years. Before landing, the captain even wished us good luck in front of all passengers and staff.

Tired of the flight, we drove to Breck school with our host families, where the construction of the robot began. Time is short, but I believe that the team is so determined to prove to everyone that we can do it, that Ludmila will be standing on all the wheels again soon to show who is the number one here.
