Day three - It will work!

From the very morning, we were on our feet in the field house, where our main pre-competition testing took place. Tomorrow we will be competing in the Williams Arena - Minnesota University Stadium - at the competition itself. Today was the last chance to finish the rebuild of the robot so that we would be "ready" tomorrow. We have also assembled "bumpers", which are used to distinguish teams in color during the competition. During testing, we encountered several problems, which gave us an insight into the reality of the competition, where we will also probably have to repair the robot. However, everything was quickly fixed and nothing happened that we were not prepared for. On the contrary, cautious optimism began to reign after today. It can be said that we have the best robot we have ever built, that we can control it and that we have a chance to get into the Saturday playoffs. I will explain these in a future entry; for now, it is enough to know that it would be a huge success for us and that it is really possible. We ended the day by taking the robot from our improvised workshop in the hallway to the car, assembled a cart that will make it easier for us to move the robot at the competition and took everything we needed to the place of tomorrow's event. We wanted to get there as early as five-thirty in the evening, but we didn't get there until seven-thirty, which was quite unpleasant due to the closing time at eight. But what we did not manage today, we will have a chance to finish tomorrow.
