Day 0

Our journey started early. How early you ask? At 4:30 AM we were at the Prague airport all packed up and ready for our flight. We were all really excited but nervous at the same time because we were carrying our robot onboard this year. Luckily everything went up to plan and we arrived to Amsterdam safe and sound. However our troubles started there as Delta airlines deleted all of our seat reservations and we ended up split up among the whole plane. Fortunately enough, the robot has got a comfy seat next to our teacher Mr Haláček. After landing in Minneapolis, the captain of the plane wished us good luck in the competition and the Customs and Immigration check was awaiting us. We all made it through without any issues - even the robot passed well. Outside of Customs were waiting our host families and we spent the rest of the day in the families talking, eating and in one case building a furnace for making maple syrup.
