Due to jet lag, the majority of us woke up very early in the morning. After breakfast with our host families, wewent directly to Breck School where we met at 10:00 a.m with our colleagues from Breck and then we split up into various sub-teams: PR, programming, scouting and mechanics. Each team had a very difficult set of things on their To-do list. Programmers had to go through the whole code and look for errors/bugs, scouts had to produce a bill of materials and watch videos from this year’s past competitions, mechanics had to pack and finish all the necessary components for the competition and the PR team had to take photos and let the world know of our progress through social media and websites. The time spent in the school was rather nicely improved by the lunch prepared by Breck. We had sandwiches, nachos, Oreos and fruits and vegetables as well. We were at Breck from 10 AM to 5 PM and then returned back to our families, where we had an evening program. Some went for burgers in a group where four brave ordered a sextuple (burger consisting of six meats and six slices of cheese). Everyone successfully finished this colossal burger. Others were lucky enough to visit an NBA match. Unfortunately, local Minnesota Timberwolves lost to Los Angeles Clippers 122:111. Everyone was quite tired from the day so we went to sleep fairly early.
