Week 3

After a week spent in quarantine, we went back to the workshop. This time, we set the goal to finish the electronics system and to finally run the chassis for the first time. Alongside with the electronics, we started to assemble the intaking mechanism for the balls. On Thursday, we made a structure with bearings that could hold our rubber wheels, we mounted the first pieces of electronics, assembled the battery holder and started programming the drivetrain. On Saturday, we continued with mounting the motor powering the intake, printing special vectored wheels and working on the electronics. On Sunday, we finished the intake mechanism as well as the electronics, so we were able to run not only the chassis, but also the first part of the final assembly of the robot.
