Day two: Let's go!
In the morning, we embarked on further repairs of the robot to bring it into the same or ideally better condition than it was before departure. The main works were carried out on the electrical assembly and lifting system of the arms, which needed a little upgrade for better compatibility and some adjustments to battle shortcomings that appeared after transport. The work was carried out on a table in the corridor next to the main workshop of the Stampede #3630 team, Breck's own team, which provides us with facilities at the time of the competition. Immediately after lunch, we finished the last adjustments and moved the robot to the field house, i.e. the gym, where testing began very successfully. The code, although it has not been given too much attention, works great and the only thing that needs to be improved on is the part where the robot must work completely without driver inputs. This is called autonomus. Drivers were given a chance to thoroughly test the robot and find out what it can do and where is room for possible adjustment. We also looked at the potential game strategy for the first time and figured out how we should proceed at the competition for the maximum number of points.
