First thing in the morning we went shopping. Luckily, our accommodation is right next to a lot of shops, so we were close to it. Those of us without suitcases bought our clothes for the day, plus plenty of food to get us through the week. After noon we headed to the arena, which doesn't compare in capacity to what we're used to from Minneapolis. There are 8 fields side by side, plus all of our stables or pits. We reunited with our robot, Honza, and tried him out before our first test match. This also went well, our automated stage with four game elements still seems to be a big advantage, so we won't get lost among the others. Still, you can see an increase in quality from the Minneapolis competition. It's really only the best of the best here anymore. Relatively satisfied, we headed back to our accommodations.
