After two days in the workshop, we are one step closer to what we want our final robot to look like. This weekend, the main goal for us was to move forward in the construction of the elevator, and we managed to do just that. We manufactured all the rods, picked out a spot on the robot for the motor and, last but not least, 3D printed tall the components. On Sunday, we put it all together and continued working on electrical and pneumatic distribution systems.
Unfortunately, making mistakes is part of the process. In contrast to the great successes on the elevator, we encountered some problems with the intake. We discovered we'll have to adjust it a bit, which is a bit frustrating. In order to properly pick up the game pieces, it will have to hang a little higher above the ground. The silver lining is that we are not stuck and know exactly where to go from here.
