Day one: Good afternoon!

While our robot is long gone, we got up at 3am today, March 27, to get on our flight. All that just to get through the security, the plane didn't leave until after six. We saw the sunrise on our way to Amsterdam and had breakfast there. After many other security checks, including the random ones, we got on a plane across the Atlantic and then the endless noon was waiting for us. Every hour we flew through a different time zone, so we did not move compared to the sun at all. The result was an endless noon, when we arrived after nine hours but it was only half past one. But idleness and rest do not belong in the vocabulary of a proper roboticist, so our first steps were straight to Breck to the workshop, where we started unpacking and reassembling the robot. The transport did some damage, but definitely less than last year, and after a few adjustments we were back on the road. The reassembly of the robot and the implementation of all the electronics that had to be removed for transport took place today.
