We do not bring shame home

After the excellent performances of the last day, we were excited about our improvement compared to previous years and Honza thanked us for our excellent work in the preparation by saying that there were no significant problems with him except for the little things. He did not sutter, he listened to our commands and, unlike even Breck's robot, he was absolutely reliable.

However, the heartbreaking reality came another three matches, where we again played "alone" several times (due to broken teammate robots) and in the last match even at a literal numbers disadvantage, when our only chance for advancement dissolved before our eyes when one of our teammates could not even enter the match due to a large mechanical malfunction. With a feeling of undeserved unhappiness, we watched the playoffs, in which we could not participate. With the passage of time, however, satisfaction with the performance of our robot prevailed in our camp and ideas began to circulate that we would try to collect money for new parts so that we could keep Honza for the next seasons as a proof of our engineering skills.

However, our plans have changed a lot in just a few moments, because even the referees noticed these skills. They awarded us the Engineering Inspiration Award for the best designed, best assembled robot with an original idea (or a couple of them), thanks to which we qualified for the global final in a week in Houston, Texas!!!

After receiving the medals and a photoshoot, we had dinner with the sister team Stampede from Breck, who lost in the final of the competition, so they will not join us on the way to Texas.
